Returns & Exchanges

Returns are only accepted up to 30 days after order has been received. Atlas will not accept returns if the product has been used or damaged in any way. Returns on custom orders/custom products are not accepted. If a product is returned, a 25% restocking fee will be charged.

If a product needs to be returned, the customer must contact Atlas for an RMA number. The product must be shipped back to Atlas undamaged (cannot be damaged during shipment).

If a customer is in need of an exchange, they must first make payment for a new order. The customer must then mail back the original product through the process of return before the new products will be shipped.

We only pay shipping fees on exchanges or returns if the cause for either was our fault. Otherwise, shipping fees on returns or exchanges are the customer's responsibility.

Claims

If the material recieved is damaged or of poor quality, please send us pictures of the damaged parts and boxes. We must have these pictures within 2 days of receiving your product, due to us having only 2 days to file a claim with our shipping company. If the pictures are sent any time after 2 days of receiving your order, we cannot accept them.

Damaged material or material of poor quality will be shipped back free of charge. The materials will be shipped back through Ground, and will be returned within 3-5 business days. If the situation requires faster shipment, customer's have the option to pay for an express order.

Freight/LTL Shipping

If an order is over 150lbs, the order will be palletized and shipped with an Atlas-contracted freight forwarder. A lift gate is required for most residential deliveries. Lift gates are only provided if the customer chooses that option when placing their order. If desired, freight orders can be personally unloaded instead of requiring a lift gate.

Note that we do not ship directly to a PO. Box or use USPS. If the order is placed any time after 11 am CST, it will likely be shipped the next business day. Atlas-contracted freight carriers will create an appointment with the customer prior to the delivery. The presence of the customer is needed when receiving a freight/LTL order, the customer must sign for the order on site. If a customer's address is altered after shipment, reconsignment fees are the customer's responsibility.

Shipping time is 3-7 business days and is shipped directly from Houston, Texas. If a customer is located nearby, free local delivery may apply. However, local pickup is prohibited.

Some orders are eligible for free shipping. In this case, the order will be palletized and all terms for shipping previously stated still pertain.

Order Cancellations

Atlas has the ability to cancel an order under any circumstance. There exist numerous grounds under which order cancellation is justified and an order cannot be placed. If an order is cancelled, a full refund and void of transaction will always occur.

Atlas Stair Parts has the ability to make alterations to our Terms of Sales on any occasion.

Pricing

If a product's pricing increases, the old price will be respected for the following week (7 days) of the increase for any customer. Similarly, if a product's pricing decreases, the difference in price will be refunded to any customer if requested within the following week (7 days) of the price decrease.
